MTN introduces mPulse tariff plan for teenagers
MTN introduced mPulse package for teenagers, a tariff plan which was launched on 23rd of August at Landmark event center, Oniru, Lagos State.
The proposition is designed for `tweens’ and teens from ages nine to 15 to enable them to learn and gain useful skills while having fun.
The event center was transformed into wonderland tagged “mPulse Planet” with lots of memorable attractions and activities such as Virtual Reality Master Class facilitated by a 13-year-old, JSS3 student, Obaloluwa Odelana and the youngest African hyper-realism artist, Kareem Waris Olamilekan of Waspa Art, who inspired children at the event.
The MTN General Manager in charge of Consumer Marketing, Mr Oluwole Rawa, said that the firm always seek to proffer innovative and relevant solutions that enable customers connect with the future and MTN mPulse tariff plan was designed to enable `tweens’ and teens to learn useful skills while having fun.
MTN is a community of people from across the country, mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters some of who are parents themselves’’.

The mPulse package comes with a voice plan and a fun educative website, which hosts a wide variety of courses and study aids to help children from primary to secondary school excel he said.
Rawa said that the portal would provide a bouquet of single and multiplayer games as well as skill videos, it would come from computer programming, fashion designing, medicine and blogging to engineering, writing, data science and motivational speaking.
“There is something for every interest,’’ he said.
Rawa said that the portal had parental controls.
Once a child is signed up, the registered parent/guardian could track and control what the child is accessing on the Internet.
With the launch of MTN mPulse, MTN is giving parents and guardians more ways to equip the next generation.
