MTN Nigeria presenting gift items with freebies to customers
The Chief Marketing Officer for MTN Nigeria Mr. Gbenga Oyebode and the Executive Directors for MTN Nigeria Mr. Tunde Folawiyo also with Mr. Muhammad Zia Siddiqui, the Chief Operating Officer for MTN Nigeria were presenting gift items to a resident of the Police Barracks, Falomo, Ikoyi, Lagos during the MTN’s Season of Surprise Initiative.
MTN Nigeria, leading ICT Company, has commenced its season of surprises give back initiative in its bid to ensure a memorable yuletide by giving back to Nigerians.
The give back initiative started at the Police Barracks, Falomo, Ikoyi, Lagos where MTN surprised the residents with various gifts such as food items and household gadgets and still plan to move around the country over the next two weeks.
Speaking on the initiative, General Manager, Consumer Marketing, MTN Nigeria, Oluwole Rawa said that the aim of the initiative is to bring back the essence of the season, which is giving and showing acts of kindness.
He said, “We understand the importance of the season, which is why we have come up with this drive. We want to surprise Nigerians with random act of kindness, which is the essence of the season. As always, we aim to spur show act of kindness and give to others,”.
Rawa also revealed that the season of surprises would also touch the online community and encourage Nigerians to watch out for the Y’ello train, as it will be travelling across the country.
Mr. Wole Oguntoye, an inspector of the Nigerian Police and resident of the barrack who got a gift of a television set at the event, commended MTN for the kind gesture. He also urged companies to emulate the company and show appreciation to Nigerians for their patronage all year long.
He said, “I would like to thank MTN for this initiative. It’s very exciting, especially at this period of Christmas. They have done well to surprise us with these gift items today. This television set is another addition to my properties and I’ll definitely make good use of it. I call on other companies to emulate this and appreciate Nigerians for their patronage in the year,”.
